  • Lucius? Is loathesome. Stab. Stabbity-stabbity-stab-stab. Back up and run over him again. Those poor women.
  • John and Rodney are so playing up the heterosexuality for each other’s benefit. Aw. John, this tends to make you look very gay. Maybe you should think about that.
  • 10 points out of 10 on the scale of Lantean stupidity for allowing Lucius to go free after taking all their secrets as well as possibly successful gene therapy. Of course he’ll be back.
  • I found this episode cute in a lot of places, but also horrifying. The music combined with the themes gave me a drastic case of cognitive dissonance.
  • Rodney loving someone is absolutely adorable. So cute.
  • The J&R love throughout this whole episode is off the charts for me.
  • Yay John, for being smart and fixing things.
  • Boo John, for allowing Lucius off your planet with Lantean security secrets.
  • Gah. Rodney is sexy and cute and funny and adorable. Love.
  • Teyla’s slap-down of Lucius at the beginning was most impressive.
  • Ronon! Held Rodney up against a WALL. Shot John. Laughed about rape. Did I mention how much I dislike Lucius? John, go back and get him and lock him up, please. In solitary. On Earth in Oswald.  Kthanxbye.
  • Still, Ronon holding Rodney up against a WALL. Hmmm.
  • Teyla and Elizabeth are adorable in love. Really hating Lucius.
  • Zelenka and Carson and, really, all those guys. So cute.
  • Good work, Carson, impressed with your acting. I could almost forgive you for all the insanity of late.
  • John. Is the worst encourager of ALL TIME. Punching him? Telling him to buck up? Dude. RODNEY would have been far more comforting and sensitive.
  • Ronon let the guy who was ready to mack all over Elizabeth and Teyla just go. No freakin’ way. Must be after-effects of that stuff.
  • The ending with John and Rodney and the herb; doesn’t quite make sense. Not enough information to be sure exactly what happened. But that’s what fan fiction is for. Did J&R experiment together? It’s the only thing that makes sense. Or Rodney is in for some major trouble. Must re-watch, if I can stomach Lucius and the rape. Stab.
  • John and Rodney are tripping around on duo adventures! Go, canon.
  • The intergalactic gate thing IS A HORRIBLE IDEA! NO! Why even have two shows, then? And off the meta level, why make a new way to get Wraith to Earth?

Like usual of late, love and hate this episode. Did I mention the John and Rodney love? And the extreme stabbiness and horror? Right then.
