Look, I'm posting early today!
I feel so proud.:O)
Watched "On the Line" today.
...
Joey made me laugh a number of times. I think he has good comic timing. Lance looks good in green.
...
There were a few cute moments. My favorite part of the movie, though, was the end segment with Chris and Justin. Even the SO had to mention how Justin did the campy accent almost a little too convincingly.
Heh. And I loved Chris' little hat. He looks good in eyeliner.
I like Lance and Joey more and more lately. Especially when Lance is all pathetic and Joey is all big and funny. I like to imagine that the guy that plays the mean reporter is Lance's current boyfriend, and Joey is jealous and flirty with the other guys on set instead of telling Lance of his feelings. And then maybe Al Green has to play Mary Sue and turn the boys onto the Path of True Wuv. Ooo, maybe Al Green is really a gay fairy godfather.
Okay, in other news:
I wrote a little snippet more in the ticking clock universe. This doesn't mean anything; it's not a direct continuation and I'm not sure it will go in the finished story. Not that there's going to be one. Probably.

No Getting Past It
Part B (maybe)
sgb
JC is making mobiles. He uses pictures cut from glossy magazines; butterflies, waterfalls, llamas in the high Andes, and Justin’s face. Each picture is lovingly shellacked to a brightly colored piece of cardboard and suspended from the structure he has created out of hangers stolen from hotel rooms. The theme is “things that JC loves but can’t keep”, and it makes him smile a little to imagine Justin seeing it.
Justin will try very hard to determine the pattern behind the images, watching the mobile twirl with his lip between his teeth. He will definitely not ask JC to explain. When he realizes that he can’t figure it out, he will get a rather cute befuddled expression that JC will have the joy of seeing periodically over the next few weeks. Worth every moment for the entertainment value alone, JC thinks, and caps the smelly jar of adhesive.
JC has been in love with Justin for a few years now, and he thinks about the changes in the lanky kid he used to know as he gazes out of the picture window into his sunlit garden. It will take a few hours for his latest mobile to dry, and he uses the time to try and remember any evidence that Justin might return his feelings. There are a couple of incidents that spring to mind, but none that make a definitive case for mutual attraction.
A slamming of the door downstairs reminds him that his favorite diva is here to pick him up, and he heads down after a proper interval with a smile on his face. Outside the sprinklers have begun to whir. He suddenly notices that he is wearing nothing but his oldest pair of cutoff shorts, and feels a little exposed.

Bye for now, and remember to leave a gold tooth under your pillow to attract a fairy godfather.
