Howdy, folks.
I like my life. It's a good life. My offline life is big and fun and full. But sometimes, I wish it would all go into a magic bubble somewhere and wait for me while I spend whole weeks online, writing, and (evil phrase warning!) honingmycraft.
I miss writing. Or whatever facsimile thereof it is I do, when left alone long enough with a pen or a keyboard or a smudge stick.
I have found the time to watch more Magnificent 7 episodes. I have great love for the show and the characters, and in fact I find myself in the midst of a Western fetish. Which leads me to the following question; why is there no Butch Cassidy/Sundance Kid fan fiction? I must expand my wish list.
Fairyslash Godmother, please bring to me...
1. An epic Y Tu Mama Tambien story which fulfills all my visions but that I don't have time to write. Must include the deceptive nature of the phrase "never again". Must include flashbacks to the film that do not involve the boys going into lengthy internal dialogues during "the Kiss" scenes.
2. On the Road series of vignettes, following the chapters of the book and including lots of romantic angst and one climactic sex scene between Dean Moriarty and Sal Paradise. Points for meandering philosophy.
3. Spander![EDIT: Um, I meant *Xandrew*.Urp. I am a humongous Spander fan, and here you see the Freudian proof. That itch has been happily satisfied of late, however. Though I'd still like a nice Post-Ending Spike/Xander saga.] (And also, !) Preferably long and detailed and smutty, with interior decorating and nesting and Andrew bringing Xander his beer after a long day, and Xander having a complete meltdown in which he rather ferally discovers that he does find Andrew attractive after all. Should include Xander giving 'Drew a long massage with the strawberry oil that unfortunately sets off his allergies. (A rather pathetic but sweet h/c scene could include calls to Willow to discover the proper herbs for the treatment of magical rashes.)
4. A Buffy/Faith PWP, preferably feral, somewhat crude, and wholly sexual in nature. Grrr. No fluffiness whatsoever.
5. A fun, frolicsome and meandering tale of Butch and Sundance's adventures in a hypothetical Australia. PG is fine, but there should be heavy symbolism and use of innuendo.
6. Much more Mag7 Nathan/Ezra goodness, in character and without turning Ezra into a saint or a villain. Detail is preferred, in the show-don't-tell sense. Nathan respect, but not canonization, required. Extra points for including the rest of the seven non-gratuitously. Horses acceptable as secondary characters only. Extra-extra points for a complete lack of bodily injuries sustained by anyone. (Which should include illness, sunstroke, rape, gunshot wounds, scrapes, broken limbs, parasitical infestation, and accidental contact with cacti.)
7. A nice, healthy "overwhelmed by passion" story in one of the following pairings. (SG-1, J/D or D/T), (Mag7 C/V, N/E), (MUNCLE N/I), (Firefly Simon/Mal), (Fastlane, V/D).
