Dread!Calumny!Laundry!

I managed to watch a video in between rounds with RL and repeat trips (3) to see the Pirates of the Caribbean. *My Beautiful Laundrette* is a wonderful film, in which all the characters get to be just as morally ambiguous as people generally are in the world. The quirkiness had such a distinctly 80's feel to it that it made me quite nostalgic. I wonder if there is any fan fiction set in that movie's universe? I'd love to read more about Omar and Johnny and their further adventures. I'd also like to see a few of the other themes explored, such as what happens to Cousin Tania and if she ever gets the nice rogering she really wants. And if she learned the interesting magic that her mother practiced so effectively.
Hmm.

Also, am in love with PotC. Still, can't forget about the Magnificent 7, especially as The Hallmark Channel has laundered its wicked ways and played the first episode last night. Which I happen to have taped. So off I go, yo ho! (Rubs hands, gloats over opportunity to watch Nathan and Ezra and Vin and Chris and...)
