I feel as if I were in a love triangle.
There’ve been serious fandoms for me before, but usually I’ve kept my ties loose, needing the freedom to wander and play in whatever fandom I wished, answering to no one besides myself. Recently I’d begun to wonder if anything could become more to me than an encounter on the road, though I often return with fondness to fandoms I’d once adored. Then Supernatural, so stupid and yet so fun, rough and awkward but pretty and filled with the kind of angst that makes my heart yearn for something more arrived on the scene. I was swept off my feet, and soon deeply involved, thinking we could have a future.
The new-found passion for Supernatural was just growing into a serious relationship, when suddenly it went off the air for months, and I was hurt but prepared to wait. I spent time hanging around various fandoms, reconnecting with a passing acquaintance: SG:A. Then, so unexpectedly, Stargate: Atlantis became more than a friend. I didn’t mean for it to happen, but the heat between us just couldn’t be denied. Hot, and getting hotter, it began to look like I’d need to let Supernatural go to sustain this intense connection.
Now Supernatural is back, and the feelings are even stronger than before. I can’t say goodbye! But is there enough of me for two fandoms that burn this hot? I’m so torn.
Dean and Sam are both OTCs for me, but they are up against Rodney McKay, John Sheppard, and Ronon Dex. I love them all! Can we make it work?

Scarecrow; no review yet, just whoa.

I’m so in love with both my stupid, stupid, wonderful shows.

The Slashfest entry I've been waiting for has proven itself to be utterly worth it. Alizarin, who funnily enough also writes lovely SG:A stories, has gifted me with a Xander Harris/Angel BtVS/AtS story that makes my toes curl and my heart hurt. Xander and Angel together has to be written well to work, but when it is, it is amongst my all-time favorite pairings. Alizarin does it well.
The story's called "Proportioned to the Groove" and can be found here.

P.S. Note to foxmonkey; try here for the Sheppard/Dex.
