I watched Amores Perros last night.
It was excellently made; especially note the perfection of sound. No extraneous waste of soundtrack, like so many films have been using to wreck their major scenes. Silence is golden, indeed, when the caca is in el cielo.
Lots of icky blood, though, if you're squeamish. Mostly from animals, too, which is so much more upsetting somehow. (Checks self for fur; nope.)
Gael is so lovely, with those green eyes and cocoa skin. Eat your heart out, Harry Potter. No way has Tenoch forgotten about Julio. Nuh-uh. I wonder if his pretty politically savvy wife has green eyes?
