The Forsaken.

They’ve run out of gas again, third time this week. Sean isn’t very happy about it, and Nick can’t really blame him. Or, as Captain Proactive would say, Sean is concerned about the broken commitment, and Nick is feeling shame.
Sometimes Nick wonders, while he is forgetting to get gas (“on purpose because you really have a lot of passive aggressive tendencies, Nick”), what the fuck happened to having conversations about things, rather than about conversations. Sean still makes him stand up and take notice, still makes him crazy just wandering around in a towel, but even great sex is barely enough to tether Nick to L.A. when Sean has just returned from another fucking seminar.
They found his Forsaken, they made the jump to living together in one town, stationary, and yet sometimes Nick thinks he’s growing moldy in a condo-shaped grave.
