BASCon coming up! I leave tomorrow!

::dancing::

So, I started another story, since I'm not allowed to work on JC/Billy until after BASCon. I'm supposed to pretend that I only spend a reasonable amount of my (sadly limited) free time on my slash addiction. (Who makes these rules? Oh yeah, I do.) I sincerely tried not to write, in fact I haven't posted this week. Or, well, only once.

But here I am again, because this is where I store my mad blitherings, and the id keeps a-yammering away. I actually got Joe Dick to shut up for awhile, though. Now it's the fuzzy proto-world of JC Chasez' brain. He wants to know if Justin's on the side of the angels.

And my brain composed sequels and next chapters and alternative versions of a lot of my in-progress stuff today, so I'm doing good only giving in to this extent. Really.

Moral Ambiguity

Justin likes watches, if they are shiny and diamond-encrusted. Lance jokes about Justin’s expensive tastes, and Puffy is frequently referred to as "Justin's Pimp" by Chris. Joey always laughs, but doesn't really say anything, probably silenced by the weight of his Superman bling.

JC pretty much figures that Justin simply likes shiny things. It's hard to tell, really. But he is pretty sure.

It does seem a little strange that Puffy gave Justin jewelry. Justin doesn’t talk about Puffy much. Which is also queer because Justin loves to talk about his famous friends.

Long, hot days in Mississippi drinking Mrs. Bass’ iced tea make it hard to think much about such things. Justin gave Puffy back his watch, after all. Lance is back in the States, if a little sad and a lot stubborn.

JC is going solo, too. A little less noisily than Justin, and probably with fewer gifts of jewelry. But still.

Justin bursts onto the porch, knocking JC's ice tea over onto the steps, where the liquid glimmers in the sun of late afternoon. Chris hangs on his back like a monkey with wild black eyes and weirdly growing fur. JC tries to dodge, but ends up at the bottom of a pile all the same.

Justin smiles at him with very white teeth.

"Come hang out in my room, 'C. We've got a game system set up in there, and I'll show you what I just got from a new buddy of mine. You'll like it, and I think it'll fit you."
