Happy Independence Day, America!
One day late, that is.
Well, the world is all about Harry Potter, apparently. More headlines than you can swing a broomstick at, and all about love for/lechery on/devastating traumas involving spoilers about The Order of the Phoenix. I even broke down and listened to it on CD.
I was all set to have an opinion, and in fact I actually have several. The incredible *number* of such opinions, however, has made me listless and vapid. Not too listless to read and enjoy many of them, however!
Instead I find myself reflecting on the nature of philosophy, Sartre's expression of Existentialism, and whether or not I should try Vanilla Coke. Rather than expound on these thoughts, I will merely share a link to a rather wonderful Stargate story I have just been reading, written by Justine . The first part is "Negotiations", but it gets more fun by the second, "Determination".
I can't wait to delve into her other works.
Happy weekend, folks, and thanks again for the great recs, pics, fics, and natter that makes getting to my computer so satisfying.
