Fun fun fun in Paradise Land.
Only, well, Chris looked kinda- upset. And they all looked overheated. Sweaty.

Dolphin kissing! Singing in the Aquarium!
Only Chris and Justin looked all cranky. And Joey- (I'm really liking Joey lately)-
Joey sang! He sounded very good. And JC sang Stand By Me! And Justin made a Very Gay Remark about Tim McGraw.
But Lance- he is the only one of the five that truly shows off white linen. (Although if they poured water all over them I would not be complaining.)
So they are all good, but then I noticed that JC, Chris, and Justin were Not Looking at Each Other Much. Unless the other one wasn't paying attention.
So I had Evil Thoughts. About Capitalization. World Domination. And Wickedly Sweet JC roaming about Breaking Hearts. And Chris getting Pissed about it.
And these Evil Thoughts made me remember this little story idea I had that was inspired by Bathsheba. And plus I wanted to give Joey a broken heart, because I was so happy to hear him sing. And he was so cute dancing in Up Against the Wall, and making the ho-down comment.

Well, yes, in my little universe getting a broken heart is kind of like getting a solo. Good. In a way.

“It kinda sounds… Weird. Freakish even. But it’s just *more* the same way, Joey. The way it is for us, the way everything else kind of goes away while we do it- only he never really goes away even when I’m with you. And when I’m with him there isn’t anything else, ever.”
Joey wonders why he wanted to know this, why he thought he could handle the truth. He tries not to look at JC because he thinks violence might happen and he’d never be free of it again. He hopes JC will get this from his silence and shut the fuck up but JC never has been very aware of the needs of those he’s talking at.
“That’s not right, it’s more like *he’s* everything, in everything, and there is more color and sound and feeling than before. Not so much that everything goes away as that nothing is separate from him, from us. You and me- it’s love, Joe, and I will always love you. I just-“
“Need to shut the fuck up, right now. Chasez.” Chris’ eyes are hard and he sounds like he did talking to Lou Pearlman a few years and a lifetime ago. Back when Chris could fix things and Joey was straight, never wanted another man *that* way. JC looks wounded and sweet and shocked, and he leaves immediately. Joey hates Chris a little right now.
“Fuck off, Chris. We had some business that has nothing to fucking do with you.” Because while he had been in pain, it was personal and belonged to him and JC alone. And now there wasn’t going to be anything at all untainted between them.

Well, that's it for now. And no promises! But I do have a plot worked out for this one. Justin is morally tested, and we will just see (maybe) how he does.
