And now on to fandom again.
Mirage of Blaze! I just finished the thirteen episode run, and the sexual tension between (spoiler) and (spoiler) could be sliced like pepperoni. The premise is cool, too, and a fandom writer's wet dream. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who doesn't already know the story, but there is so much material to work with, and it is very yaoi/slash friendly.
I'm enjoying much more shoujo manga lately, also. I blame Parfait Tic.
I recently watched Yami no Matsuei again, and I still love Tsuzuki. I had forgotten how much I liked Hisoka, too, and how incredibly disturbing Muraki is. His connection to Tsuzuki makes so much more sense on a re-watching. I don't want to post spoilers about these shows, but I'm dying to discuss them and the manga I am reading. I wish I could find a Santa Cruz manga/anime discussion group with yaoi/lj interests.
My dream is to meet weekly or bi-weekly in a local diner, 10 or so people who will bring sketchbooks, mangas, and laptops and take up a quarter of the restaurant for 2 hours of eager fannish chatter and pimping. Or, or, the Central Library, which has wireless access.
