I've got two stories to write, and I'm pushing back my deadline again.
It's not like I couldn't have done it, but I went and watched Brokeback Mountain (which I absolutely loved but feel no need to discuss online) and re-watched SGA and can't get my brain out of Ennis' issues or Rodney's pants long enough to do a half-way decent job. I keep writing Rodney/Ronon or Rodney/John stuff and then stopping because, please, I am not writing for SGA ever ever. If I can't get to the right space by the 10th, I'll suck it up and write KKM and GO using the stick shift, though, I promise. The GO story is a lot done already anyway, and the KKM story is... well, it's stuck. Wolfram wants a Wagnerian tragedy, and that's not on for this story. So we have to fight a little, and Yuuri needs to come down on my side with full water-magic force. Or I'll get Rodney to build me a bomb. Whichever.
I should mention at this time that I keep wanting to play with photoshop and make complicated, time-consuming icons. But I'm trying to resist. Work, family, the SO, and etc. keep bothering me to do stuff too, see how they are.
