It's all about Simon Tam, at the moment. And Jayne. And Mal. And Kaylee. And Wash and also Zoe. And River. And not-so-much Book, but okay. Oops, forgot Inara, but then she does good Riversitting work.
I've got it bad, and that ain't good.

The Dialogue of Hope and Fear

HOPE: There is slashy chemistry, het chemistry that actually WORKS, and wonderful gen portents in the show. It's all possible, and it all looks good.

FEAR: They're gonna cancel it.

HOPE: But we don't know that for certain. Much is being-

FEAR: The bastards.

HOPE: done to keep it on the air. Fans everywhere uniting.

FEAR: Joss is overcommitted.

HOPE: But he loves the show! It's his baby.

FEAR: The bastard. Erm, glorious bastard.

HOPE: Who, Joss?

FEAR: Well, duh. Of course Joss. Hey, I'm hungry. Got any bagels?

HOPE: Oh, sure. Let me just tidy up this pile of pro-Firefly depositions...

And so Hope wins out, as my Fear is a victim of attention deficit disorder.

Is that a Simon/Jayne story over there?
