William Turner was not pleased.

Anamaria and Mr. Gibbs were not especially pleased, either. Mr. Gibbs had Will’s legs, which while tied together, still seemed inclined to kick. Anamaria had Will’s arms and head. Gagged round the mouth and bound at the wrists, the lad was yet trying to bite her. He even snarled a bit.

Mister Cotton’s parrot, on the other hand, seemed quite happy with the situation. He was riding on young Master Turner’s chest, and clearly was enjoying his version of the classic “15 Men on a Dead Man’s Chest”. Captain Jack Sparrow couldn’t have been happier, himself.

“What matters, m’dear, is not what a man wishes to do, or ought to do, but what he *can* do,” he remarked, beaming. “Now, can you get yourself free, or do you have to await my pleasure?”

Jack was, of course, right as usual.
