I've watched Stargate: Atlantis before. Actually, up through episode 8, I watched and enjoyed and thought it was fun. Not really fannish, just loved Ford and found Weir weird and Shep interesting and McKay funny. But then I saw the Storm, and. What would McKay do?
And then I saw the one after the Eye, The (Something) One. The one where Shep is teaching Rodney to drive.
And then McKay is all heroic and saves Sheppard's life.
And then I thought, "I'll go look at some of that fic now."
What have you people done to me?

I thought for sure I was not going there. And I just know that any minute, something dire will happen to poor Ford. But I can't stop watching, and reading, except for Supernatural stories. Because Dean and Sam pretty much derail my brain. But whenever I run out? Back to the McShep. Do you have any idea how many rec pages there are of these stories? Or how much mind and will can be sapped by finding a good one?
