A confession arises in me that must be made.
I am not a Justin Timberlake fan.
It is true that a scarily large portion of my C drive is taken up with his pictures, his music, and stories about him and his pretty bandmates. It is also true that as I type this, his face smiles from the center of my monitor. I find him beautiful (in spite of myself, and the fact that I don’t go for the ‘fro) and even think that he is probably very likable and smart. I suspect that I would get along fine with him in RL if we ever met, because I get along with most people and so does he.
I am not a Justin Timberlake fan.
I hope that he does well in his career, I enjoy his song-writing (not tremendously, but I do). I have spent an inordinate amount of time imagining him making love, fighting, or singing with JC Chasez. I have been known to freak out when I thought I missed a couple of minutes off the beginning of his Diary. And yet.

Over and over I have seen posts that claim “true fans” do not criticize their idols. Well folks, Justin is not my idol. I hereby reserve the right to critique everything I know and don’t know about the man, because *I* am *not* a “true fan”.
I owe him no loyalty, I do not like his 7-Eleven shirt, and I prefer his work with *Nsync to his solo inasmuch as I’ve seen it. That said:
Eeeee! Didja see the licking thing? And oh, the hips!
