Rodney! Don't worry, your boyfriend is on the way with a plan. He won't even entertain the idea that he can't save you. And, by the way, he looks v.v. sexy rushing to your side.

Really loved Rodney even more than before, of course, just like everyone else, but so many people have said it better. Sam as his inner guidance; perfect. And don't think the slasher in me is missing the fact that he *turned down* sex with her. Rodney is starting to believe in the love of his friends, and I am so happy. I have been watching him carefully, and I see him as having a lot of love for those who get past his prickly exterior. He may be a jerk in a lot of ways, but deep down he lacks the desire to see anyone hurt. And notice, when the screen started cracking, he didn't run for the back; he went to help the other guy. He is no coward.

I have to say I think the minimalist cast was a good idea, narratively, though I really missed Ronon and Teyla. And Ford, of course, but you all know I adore the addled, incredibly dangerous darling. I really, really need to read a Ford/Ronon story. Why aren't there any? They totally had chemistry in their (very few) scenes together. And there is the whole doppleganger thing, as well as the fact that they still have to find out who is the toughest. Ford/Ronon/Teyla would also make me very happy, because I must admit Ronon and Teyla look at each other *like that*. Teyla says "Aiden" so beautifully. It's love! Think what pretty babies Teyla could have! Since it is the science=crack world, either Ford or Ronon could bear the children for her. What? You folks did see the episode where (insert any one of about sixty completely impossible ideas).
